Sessions
One to one, without hurry
The heart of my work is the one-to-one session: just you and me, in Berlin by arrangement or online, in English or German. I will tell you the price in our introductory call, depending on format and place.

How a session works
Three parts, always the same
- Part 01
Arriving
We talk briefly: how are you today, is there anything I should know? We also agree whether a hand on your breastbone would help you or not. Both are fine, and you can change your mind at any time.
- Part 02
The connected breath
You lie down, music plays, I lead the rhythm and stay with you the whole time. If it gets too much, you breathe through your nose or take a break.
- Part 03
Resting
The breath calms down on its own. Then silence, a blanket, nothing to do. A few words afterwards if you like, and time before you head back out.
Before you book
Safety first
When we do not breathe in this way
Connected breathing briefly changes circulation, blood pressure and blood chemistry. It is not suitable in the following cases:
- Pregnancy
- Cardiovascular disease
- High blood pressure that is untreated or not well controlled
- After a stroke or heart attack
- Aneurysm
- Epilepsy or seizures
- Glaucoma, retinal detachment
- Severe asthma, COPD, strongly reduced lung function
- Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, a history of psychosis
- Severe osteoporosis
- Acute or untreated post-traumatic stress disorder
- Recent surgery or injury
This list is not complete and does not replace a medical opinion. If you take medication, have a diagnosis or are unsure, let us talk first. Together we can find out whether a gentle breathing exercise for relaxation suits you, after checking with your doctor.
Is tingling or trembling normal?
Yes. Tingling in the hands, feet and around the mouth is common and fades once the breath slows down. Trembling, laughing or crying are known reactions too. I explain beforehand what can happen, so it does not take you by surprise.
Does this replace therapy?
No. Connected breathwork is not a medical treatment and does not replace psychotherapy or medical care. If you are in treatment, please check with your therapist or doctor first and let me know.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes with a loose waistband, warm socks and a jumper for afterwards, as the body cools down after breathing.
Should I eat beforehand?
Nothing heavy, but do not come hungry either. A small snack two to three hours before is ideal. No alcohol, no other substances, go easy on caffeine.
A short conversation before you decide.
If you are not sure whether connected breathwork is right for you, write to me. We will have a short, no-obligation conversation first.
